Define Custom Field For Facebook Like Image? (4 posts)

I have tried absolutely EVERYTHING possible to get this to work. For some reason, Facebook Share pulls the right image from my post, but when I like a post, it takes a random image from my timthumb image processing script (any image from any post). I've tried countless # of plugins, I've added countless # of functions to try and fix this, but have NOT found a cure yet and at this point just getting annoyed and thought I'd ask you guys on here :).

I tried the function to pull the first image from the post, but for some reason, it still wouldn't work (and I'm guessing because it has to meet size specifications because Facebook won't automatically resize? Which doesn't make sense since Facebook share will automatically resize the image...). I've also tried adding a function to take the social image as a defined custom field "Image" which STILL did not work.

Can anyone PLEASE give me a way to fix this problem because I don't like that liking something on my website is pulling random images not related to the post at all... HELP!! Thanks in advance!

I'm up for the same solution. I'll drop a line if my dev. can find a fix.

I was able to use the url entry box to define a static image for all Facebook like posts, but nothing like what you want to pull featured or 1st image.
