   is there anywhere to get the default templet from the beginning. I did not copy and save the orignal. never thought I would mess things up that bad :(

   Do you still have the original .zip file you downloaded? If so, you can just unzip the file again to a folder in your computer and access the default theme in the wordpress\wp-content\themes\default folder.

   If you don't have a copy of the .zip file, you can find a copy to download at http://wordpress.org/download/release-archive/
