Default Post Category – Missing.

    First,

    For some reason, category ID -2 is missing, I deleted the General Category and created few more. Now after checking all the IDs , i find cat ID 2 is missing.

    When i post through E Mail, everything goes to Uncategorized. Even though i have selected the default category from the Admin panel.

    Second, i would like to know the function definition for this List all Categories in WP and the function to default post category.
