I'm trying to figure out how to use kommiku. First of all, is there better documentation anywhere other than the wiki site?

Secondly...I'm trying to test it by uploading individual pages before trying a dump, but the default permalink is just my blog, i.e. http://mydomain/myblog/ then the autofill page number, in this case 1. Why isn't it putting in the subfolders the way the example on wiki shows? Do I need to manually put that in?

More info: when I tried to delete the series, it claimed it couldn't find the folder which, when I checked by ftp, was right where it said it would be.

And when I tried to dump a zip file, I got the following error msg:

Warning: mkdir() [function.mkdir]: No such file or directory in /mydomain/myblog/wp-content/plugins/kommiku/extension/dumper.php on line 76

Warning: mkdir() [function.mkdir]: No such file or directory in /mydomain/myblog/wp-content/plugins/kommiku/extension/dumper.php on line 80

FWIW, I added the pluin using the auto wordpress install. I just did a search in the WP plugins and installed it.

For that matter, how on earth do you get it to display anything on a blog page? or access the reader? Or anything? I've tried the shortcode and all it does on the page is show the text. Please tell me there's actual documentation somewhere.

Good grief...I think I've finally figured out how to make it work in my blog, tho I don't think it's how you intended. It appears that uploading to the default puts the page into the correct folder, but it's not showing the subfolders properly in the permalink shown on the load page. And the dump still doesn't work as advertised.

Kommiku will not work out of the box.

There are some "prerequisite" that must be follow for the plug-in to work.

Did you change your permalink to something other than "?id=123" ?

Are the folder being created? Chmod to 755?

You can't dump or upload any files if the folder does not exist.

What do you have on your dump files? Max Upload?

    Hey...
I'm having issues with 2.2 which seem to be the same as JSF's. The errors I keep receiving are:

WordPress database error: [Unknown column 'title' in 'field list']
SELECT title FROM wp_comic_series WHERE title = 'FIVE'

WordPress database error: [Unknown column 'slug' in 'field list']
SELECT slug FROM wp_comic_series WHERE slug = 's1'

WordPress database error: [Unknown column 'title' in 'field list']
    INSERT INTO wp_comic_series (title,slug,summary,chapterless,categories,author,illustrator,read,creation,alt_name,status,rating,type,img) VALUES ('FIVE','s1','','0','','','','0','','','0','0','0','')

However it says the series was listed successfully. I'm not seeing it anywhere. Also, I will second JSF's question about how to have this display, access, etc.

The tables for Kommiku are not being created properly. This may be a bug that I have to find or look into it.

My friend fixed the issue (and emailed you about it) so I would send out a fixed version.
