    Couple of questions:
    1) Which version of the plugin are you using? (I assume 1.6.6)
    2) Is cron avaialble on your server? Without cron, this will not work. You can check your server’s info (for IIS, someone else posted a link: http://drupal.org/node/31506 (Yes, I know it’s about drupal, but the info there is still valid) )
    3) Which version of WP are you running?
    4) On the settings page, does it say when the next one will run? If you change the frequency of the checks, does that go to 0 or however many minutes? If you wait after that time passes, does it jump up, or would it show a negative number?

    We can move forward once I know these.
