Hi Julian,
I’m sorry you’re having trouble. The first thing to try when you’re getting ‘Page not Found’ messages is to re-save your permalinks. I do know that some other users have experienced issues with SEO by Yoast, so deactivating that would be the next step. You’ll also want to deactivate the theme (and switch to a default theme like Twenty Thirteen) to rule out a conflict there.
If you can isolate this as an issue that’s inherent to The Events Calendar, we’d be happy to look into it further. Unfortunately, we can’t help troubleshoot conflicts here on the free forum. If you do find a conflict, you can try getting in touch with the developer of the theme or plugin and see if they can shed some light on the issue.
Best,
Leah
Hi,
I’m not sure exactly what the problem was but it seemed to have fixed it self after i changed a few settings. I got distracted while i was doing it and was surprised to find the page worked again.
I’m pretty sure i did what you suggested but inadvertently hehe 🙂 either that or it was because i had a page called events already, and that permalink was taken, and i deleted that page, this might have also solved it.
Sorry for not marking this resolved sooner, but thanks for you reply anyway 🙂 much appreciated 🙂
