Default custom fields - how to use the 'else' statement (1 post)

    Hi,

    my blog currently features thumbnails for the five most recent posts that have the "post thumbnail" custom field defined. When I don't add anything to this field the layout of my site breaks!

    So, I want to add php to make sure a default image is pulled in. Any tips on how to edit my index.php code?
