    Hello,

I have 3 different blogs all with 3.3.2 version. Two were updated and one was built with the 3.3.2. I’m using two different themes across the three.

In the older version of WP there was a check box where you could automatically close an article to comments from the very start… or go back later and do this.

However, in all three of these blogs nowhere on the add/edit Post pages is there and option to turn off commenting…

The settings indicate there should be something on the individual add/edit post page:
    *************
    Default article settings
Attempt to notify any blogs linked to from the article
Allow link notifications from other blogs (pingbacks and trackbacks)
Allow people to post comments on new articles
(These settings may be overridden for individual articles.)
    *************

However I don’t see any sort of check box for this on the add/edit post page anywhere…

I’m certain I did not delete anything related to this in the PHP as I primarily work on the design, not really the coding.

    Any advise?

    Thanks in advance,
    JS

Check “Allow comments” in the Discussion pane on each Edit Page. If you do not see this pane, click Screen Options at the very top of the page and check “Discussion”.
