I've recently migrated from Blogger to WordPress.

On blogger, I was using a custom domain, http://blog.ams-designstudio.com which is now my WordPress blog. I've imported all my posts and have set the pretty permalinks to to the same format that i used on blogger. The problem is the old blogger deep urls have a '.html' at the end that wordpress doesn't, and the wordpress urls tend to be longer...

I wanted to know is if there was any way of telling wordpress how to forward these pages?

    So this =
    http://blog.ams-designstudio.com/2013/02/branding-reader-berlin-by-maurice.html

will forward to here, for example =

    http://blog.ams-designstudio.com/2013/02/branding-the-reader-berlin-by-maurice-redmond/

I'm pretty sure the answer is no but I'm hoping there is a way around it...

You might look at the Plugins directory for "redirects" - there are a lot of great tools out there for all sorts of purposes.

    Perfect, thanks Jess!

I've just tried it out. This was actually so simple that I'm embarrassed to have asked :)

Don't be embarrassed - often it's just about knowing what to look for. If you found a solution, please mark this topic as resolved. :-)
