   I would like to get the word count for my entire blog excluding pages. I have tried everything I can think of to make this happen but the pages ALWAYS seem to think they need to be included. STUPID pages! Please, if some genius type person could end my suffering, I'd be ever so grateful.

   Well, I'm sure this isn't the best solution, but it might work.

   1. Try this plugin:

   http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/post-word-count/

   2. Modify it to exclude pages:

   http://wordpress.org/support/topic/262038
