My son-in-law kindly opened this avenue (WordPress) for my blog. However, I have found that it is a target for hackers and spammers. I've instituted the "registration" method, so that there is the beginning of a screening process ... but gambling-casino hackers have found their way through that, and I'm afraid I'll be getting as many as 100 spammed comments on my blog per day again. I'm a computer user ... nothing else. If you have wisdom ... and can explain a way for me to install protection from these people and sites, please let me know. Thanks. Ken

The Akismet plugin. It should have been part of your original WordPress installation but will need to be activated both within your blog and by using an API code key that you can obtain (for free) from WordPress.com.
