When wordpress.org changed all passwords on 6/11/11 (or thereabouts), I had not logged in for awhile and my email address had gone defunct because Verizon sold out to Frontier in my area. Now, I can’t request a new password because it just sends the new password to my verizon address but I never see it.

I signed up for this new account, but I would really like my other account back. I don’t see any Contact Us information and the site interface here doesn’t allow for this eventuality. Does anyone know what I can do to get access to my regular account?

What was your old account name?

It does not send your email to a verizon address but to a different URL.

If you can remember the old email address, send me a note with what it is at ipstenu[AT]ipstenu.org from your rexgoode.com account and I’ll reset the password. But I need SOME proof you’re you, after all 😉

Fixed 🙂 You had a typo in the email (missing an S) but it was clearly you!

Password reset and email fixed, so even IF the email I sent gets lost, you should be able to use the built in reset tool.

Thank you! That missing s causes me more trouble. I type 80WPM, but that one typo I do over and over again when typing my own domain name. 🙁

Not a problem! 🙂 Glad it was easy to go ‘Ah, there’s the proof and the problem!’
