    Hi again!

I like your theme so much, I implemented it in another website parkpack.juliac.com.

The issue is that when I deactivate Woocommerce, none of the content of any pages seem to come up anymore…just the header. When I reactivate Woocommerce (which, by the way, looks great with your theme) all of the pages show up again perfectly.

Could you please advise?…as I’d like to test out another ecommerce plugin.

    Thanks!
    Julia

for now I am going to reactivate it, so I can keep working on the site. Let me know if you want me to deactivate.

Hi Julia, is all the content added by the plugin? Your site looks good, i like seeing that and in case you did not know you can add a blog page template to show all your post.

Hi Brad, I don’t think I added all of the content with the plugin. ?

As for the blog – I do have the ‘blog’ page format enabled on the page entitled ‘Blog’ – is it supposed to show up differently? I haven’t gotten to that part of the site yet. 😉 Right now I’m just fiddling with how to make a date show up that is always 3 days from whatever the current date is… but I know that’s not theme related.

thanks so much for your quick responses!

The blog should show up like this on the Demo, i dont have any experience with eCommerce plugin’s so i would have to look into it.

Well, that does look a lot better than mine. lol. I’ve got the Posts page set to ‘Blog’ under the Static Front Page in the customize….and I’ve got the template of the page set to ‘Blog.’ I’m not sure what the problem is.

When I select the blog page as my front page it changes the format to look like your demo… It’s just that I don’t want it as my front page. Very strange.

Make a new page and select the blog template and then use custom menus to add the new page as your blog and remove the one you have set as blog from the menu.

Thank you! The original blog page fixed itself when I added another… I don’t really understand what happened. Anyway, thanks.

Hi, just an update that it appears the problem fixed itself because on the ‘customize’ > Static front page > the Posts page needs to say ‘-select-‘ – otherwise it will derender the ‘blog’ template selected by the theme.

I’m not sure why. I had something strange happen with another theme, so I think it’s a bug in the new WordPress ‘customize’ thing. Hopefully someone who knows what they are doing will submit it to WP.

    Best,
    Julia
