• I’m about to install the Image Upload HTTP Error Fix plugin because I’ve never been able to solve my image upload problems and I heard this fix works.

I’ve read elsewhere that de-activating mod_security is probably not too dangerous but I wanted to ask if anyone here knows the specific way the HTTP Error plugin changes mod_security and if it is something that could expose me to hacks.

Never mind… I tried this plugin and it still would not let me upload images. Guess I’ll just use the No Flash Uploader plugin. I’ve tried that and it works.

All that the Image Upload HTTP Error Fix plugin does is add the mod_security exclusion for one PHP file to work, to the WordPress root .htaccess file.
