• Hello,

I have set up a CMS site through WordPress and the client does not want a blog at this point, perhaps in the future. Is it possible to de-activate it through the WordPress interface or can this be done in the template code?

    Thanks.

  • There really isn’t a deactivate thingy.

Assuming you are saying you don’t want the front page to show posts, then just use the Front page displays options in Administration > Settings > Reading so a Page is shown on visit to the site.

    Hi,

I don’t want the blog to appear on the site at all. Is this possible? I already have a Static Front Home Page, but don’t want any pages of the site to show posts.

Maybe being a bit obtuse, but just don’t write any posts.
