Debug Bar
dbDelta() issues DB errors on table creation that are caught by Debug Bar (1 post)

If you use the boilerplate code in the Codex article on Creating Tables from Plugins, running it will cause the Debug Bar tab to light up red; the error is that the table you're creating can't be "DESCRIBED," which is a suppressed error, but Debug Bar picks up on all errors, whether or not they are suppressed.

I'm not sure if this is a core bug, since $wpdb->suppress_errors is ignored while storing DB errors in the $EZSQL_ERROR.
