    Hi all...attempting to install latest (as of today) CVS on my host. I get the following error(s):
    SQL/DB Error --
    [
    Error establishing a database connection!
    Are you sure you have the correct user/password?
    Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
    Are you sure that the database server is running?
    ]
    SQL/DB Error --
    [
    Error selecting database <WRONG DB NAME>!
    Are you sure it exists?
    Are you sure there is a valid database connection?
    ]
    Okay..thing is, where it says WRONG DB NAME, it's showing a db name that is NOT in wp-config. I've cleared my cookies, reuploaded, tried again to install. Keep getting the same error. Any ideas?

    Anyone? I've gone so far as to download a fresh copy of WP and uploaded that, and it's still giving me an incorrect DB name. Really strange. It's showing the db name I had a Portland.co.uk, but I've changed the wp-config files, double, tripled, quadruple-checked, and the file shows the correct config info for this db. However, I keep getting the sql error that's basically telling me I'm trying to connect to a db that doesn't exist (on the current server.) Argh!
