    [Moderator note: Topic title de-capped. Please do not shout at us.]

    I have an error message appears:
    Username and / or password defined in wp-config.php file is incorrect or that you can not connect to the server at localhost. It's also possible that the server is not currently available.

    Make sure that the user name and password are correct, and they were entered without error in the configuration file.
    Make sure the database server address is correct.
    Make sure that the server is still active and available.

    If you are not a technical person, you may want to contact Support to your hosting provider. Alternatively, you can contact a group discussion of WordPress.

    Login to your hosting provider and change your mysql database's password & re-enter all information in wp-config.php file.

    This tutorial may help you: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php

    If your site is in localhost and if you are using wamp,

    Go to this file in: WampFolder\apps\phpmyadmin[phpmyadmin version]\config.inc.php

    Usually wamp is in your main hard drive folder C:\wamp\

    You will see something like:

    $cfg['Servers'][$i]['user'] = 'YOUR USER NAME IS HERE';
    $cfg['Servers'][$i]['password'] = 'AND YOU PASSWORD IS HERE';

    Try using the password and username that you have on that file.
    xampp is also similar to this.

    If your site is in a server,
    follow these steps.

    what do you mean by that?

    You have repeatedly pointed people to sites other than wordpress.org when the definitive documentation that should assist them is on http://codex.wordpress.org .

    Please use wordpress.org resources whenever possible.
