• do i need to anything special to have articles publish at later dates/times other than ‘edit the date’ to a future date and click publish? i know with other apps, the clock appears to simply trigger the post, making it appear as though (for example) i’m writing all day every day, when in fact, i might sit down sunday and write ten pieces for the following five days…
is there any other setting required or is that really all there is to it?
    thanks in advance.

  • that is all. just set the days using that option…

That’s really all there is to it. When WordPress collects posts to display to visitors, it compares all posts against the current time. Anything with a time in the future is suppressed from output.
So you can create five posts, and future-date them one for each of the next five days. When visitors load your site every day, they’ll get the latest post up to the current time of their visit.
