I just installed a fresh copy of wp. In looking through the settings for the date format, I have a Y for the year, but it shows up like this:
Date Format January 30, 8632884266970
I tried doing lowercase Y, it still displays that long string of numbers. I'm baffled. Any ideas?

hi zurdog,
let me know in which file you are facing this problem?
Its everywhere... settings-general (in admin of wordpress) when I go to create a page or post, it shows up like this: 8461085575090 in the year box.
F j, Y
Or go to your database:
wp-options table. Search this entry: option_name = date_format and change the value there.. Or provide an example link here..
That is what I have: F j, Y What I'm saying is I did a default install, and the year is showing up as a bunch of numbers. I'm not sure what kind of link I can provide.

Very odd...things seem to have reverted back to normal...

Hi there,
After spending hours on trying to solve this, I killed off my database files on my server more than once. I then installed phpMyAdmin and figured out how to get that running. Once that was done I re-installed WordPress and the dates were ok. I'm not even sure if phpmyadmin was the solution or not. Thanks for getting back to me and good luck.
