Date formats for Table Row Order extension

    Hi Tobias – does the Table Row Order extension recognise date formats? If so, which ones?

    I have a table with dates in the format %a %d %b (i.e. Sat 07 Sep), but the Table Row Order doesn’t recognise it, and sorts it like a text field.

    The DataTables JavaScript library recognises the format, but isn’t suitable for my requirement.

    Hi,

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    Unfortunately, the Table Row Order Extension does not recognize date formats. It uses the PHP function strnatcasecmp, which only sorts strings.
