I have found that date formats have to be input in a particular way for posts to show correctly. The way this plugin is used is for modulating event type posts. Where the date of the entry needs to be put in it must be done this way: 2014-03-15.

Is there a way that this could be a format you could choose for yourself, i.e. in the UK we would use either 15/03/2014 or 15/03/2014. I appreciate the US format would be 03-15-2014, so the option for all users would be to choose format.

Additionally some notes somewhere could identify how date format should be entered as I had to work this out for myself.

I think a variable option would be massively beneficial to anyone wishing to use a different format.

Custom Post Type UI doesn’t do anything regarding handling of dates, so whatever you’re looking at for this is going to be WordPress Core.

All we do is handle the registration of the post type or taxonomy that you’re wanting.
