I was wondering if it's possible to place the date before the content (just like you have on your own website)

You could pretty easily use CSS to switch those around. I can't think of any sites I have that on though.

I'm new to this, sorry. I'm using twenty-eleven child theme. Could you please tell me which css code I have to add to make it happen? Thanx in advance

Sorry, writing CSS definitely falls outside of basic plugin support. I suggest trying to find an HTML/CSS forum and asking there.

You can use CSS to rearrange the position of an element? I'm wanting to do the same thing. Hopefully someone can chime in and offer some suggestions. Thanks!

You can use CSS to push the date to the top and move everything else down a bit.

The key would be to make sure that the date is kept in one single line (choose a short format and a small enough font size), so you know how far you have to push down the rest.

There are lots of resources and tutorials – a good way to start would be to search for ‘absolute and relative positioning’
