having an issue where my tables are NOT displaying the search field. used chrome inspector to see TWO jquery.dataTables.js files are loading: version 1.9.4 as part of the wp-google-maps plugin, and version 1.9.3 for Tablepress (with an ‘uncaught typeerror: cannot call method ‘fnSetData’ of undefined’ after line 29). what’s the best way to fix this?

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Can you please post a link to the page with the table where this is happening, so that I can take a direct look? Thanks!

    Regards,
    Tobias

sorry, but the search field IS working properly — my error. and now as i check some of the pages i believe the ‘old’ 1.9.3 version of datatables.js is not there either! maybe the w3-total-cache plugin was doing too good a job! sorry about that.

    Hi,

ok, that’s sounds weird 🙂 Good to hear though that everything is working now.
If this happens again, please post that link, and I’ll gladly take a look.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
