   Hi,
   I've developed a problem where I try to login to the dashboard wordpress logs me in, but the browser gives me a "server unexpectedly dropped the connection" error message in Safari, and just a blank page in other browsers. It happened out of the blue and I've been trying to work with my hosting company to fix it with no luck. The wordpress site works, it's just when I try to login and access the dashboard I have this issue, same goes if I click edit on any of the posts. I noticed that in my MySQL Database area in Cpanel it looks like the database user no longer has the EXECUTE privilege box checked. I'm almost positive that this was checked when my installation was working. Even setting up a brand new database and fresh wordpress installation is giving me the same error message when logging into the dashboard. I can't seem to figure out what has changed to cause this issue to pop up. Could the lack of the EXECUTE privilege cause this? The host recently did an apache update as well, could that be the cause?

   Your WP database user should have full privileges.

   That's what I thought. I've installed wordpress a few times now and never had any problems, so I think this is a server side error, but my hosting company, who has horrible technical support keeps insisting it's my fault. They are moving me to another server and they claim that will solve it, but doesn't that mean that it is infact a server issue of some kind? I've asked them to allow me to enable EXECUTE priviliges again, because right now when I select ALL PRIVILEGES and click update, the EXECUTE one is disabled when I go back and check. SOOOOO frustrating!

   I can only assume that they intend to move you to another MySQL server that does allow you to have db users with full privileges. But yes, it sounds like a server issue to me, too.
