   I have tried to create a database & files backup but when I run it I always get a database only backup and the files never get backedup...
   is this because I am putting the database in the root of the server I am trying to backup? does the backup need to be offsite?

   did you have checkt what to backup for the backup files and what for exclusions are set ?

   yes everything looks normal
   for the database file I have file backup unchecked
   and for the database+file backup I have database backup and file backup checked and no exclusions checked in the file backup section
