Going to my site, The Couth Hillbilly, it appears correctly. I try to log in and the following shows above the login graphic:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home1/xxxxxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-visitors/wp-visitors.php:12) in /home1/xxxxxxxx/public_html/wp-login.php on line 255

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home1/xxxxxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-visitors/wp-visitors.php:12) in /home1/xxxxxxxx/public_html/wp-login.php on line 267

After login the screen contains only the above warnings plus 4 others for various lines in pluggable.php. There is nothing to allow me to access any of the admin area.

You are a lifesaver (not the candy). It took several repetitions. Each time I corrected one line I received an error on a line futher down. Even though I am completely unfamiliar with php there was no problem other than having to repeat the procedure.

It appears that the entire problem was caused by the plugin wp-visitors, which I had installed just prior to upgrading.

    Again, thanks.
