   Hi-

   I have read and read about hte database errors. I have gone through the config file and created new user to be sure everything is right and as far as I can tell it is.

   BUT, I still either get a totally blank page or a page with error connecting to database.

   I just migrated my hosting account. I have five sites that are not showing up and 7 that are fine. I can't figure it out.

   I updated my wordpress installation. I deleted all my plugins.

   When I login into php admin and look at the database and the user -- the new user I set up is not there. When I check other sites that are live -- the password via php admin is different from the config file and it works. So I am not sure I am really seeing the right thing in php admin.

   I am really hoping to get sites up instead of total rebuild.

   Thanks for any ideas.

   Which version of the WP are you running?

   First of all the passwords are encrypted and saved to the database. I guess it is MD5.

   Check your .htaccess file

   I iupdated the one site to 3.2.1. I'm not sure what MD5 means. Or how to check the htaccess file. But will research.
