   I was trying to resolve a problem on my server's Plesk Control Panel with my WP DB. I changed the name of the server and all hell broke loose. This is the error message I got:

   Error establishing a database connection

   This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can't contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host's database server is down.

   * Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
   * Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
   * Are you sure that the database server is running?

   Tell me what I need to do please.

   information in your wp-config.php

   open up wp-config.php with notepad or bbedit and change necessary info

   Yep, just figured that out. Thanks for responding. I'm back up and running.
