    I am getting this error and my articles are not showing, it happened overnight, nothing new that I did.

    WordPress database error: [Got error 28 from storage engine]
    SELECT DISTINCT * FROM wp_posts WHERE 1=1 AND post_date_gmt <= '2006-06-22 12:05:59' AND (post_status = "publish" OR post_author = 1 AND post_status != 'draft' AND post_status != 'static') GROUP BY wp_posts.ID ORDER BY post_date DESC LIMIT 0, 15

    Doing a search for "error 28" would reveal the only remedy is to contact your host. Only they can fix it.

    My host said it's in the install, I did a search and found a couple blank pages for that, do you have a specific response that I can show my host and let him know what to do?

    1. Change host quickly! If they don't know what an "error 28" is and how to fix it - they should be out of business.

    2. I had once this same error, and this is what I got from my host after alarming them about the issue:
    Hello Moshu,
    Sorry for the problem.
    A critical server directory had overflowed causing this issue for MySQL.
    We have corrected this error, and are taking steps to implement safeguards in order to prevent a recurrance of this issue.
    Please let us know if you have any other questions or issues to report.

    Thank you,

    3. Again, there is nothing we can do about it.
