    Ive been getting this error when im trying to reach the install.php file:
    “Can’t select database

    We were able to connect to the database server (which means your username and password is okay) but not able to select the readours_wordpress database.”

    I tried changing the coding to having a prefix and without it.

    I dont know whats going on.

    I’m using BlueHost hosting.

    Well, it sounds like you’ve entered the wrong database name. Your username, password and database location are fine – but the database name is incorrect in some way. Log into your BlueHost account and look at your databases, and be sure you’re spelling the name correctly.

    By the way, you REALLY need an index page for your domain name. I can see your directory tree *and* your php.ini file. Not good.

    Alos, are you aware that your WordPress URL – when you’ve installed it – will be “yoursite.com/wordpress/wordpress”? You’ve got it in double directories. I’d say move it up one folder, just so you aren’t frustrated later on.

    @readour…
    I’m having the same problem.

    Can anyone help, with help being BlueHost specific?

    Um, reading the thread that you posted in might be a start.
