    Hi,

We want the first and last names of everyone who has registered using our form to appear onto a page on our site, and we want the public to be able to view it. I’m using the shortcode below and when I am logged in I can see the data, but when I’m logged out nothing appears:

    [cfdb-table form="National Registry 4 Wrestling Contact Form" show="last-name,your-name" role="Anyone" orderby="last-name" headers="last-name=LAST NAME,your-name=FIRST NAME"]

How can I get it to display all the people’s names to the public? I tried using the role=”Anyone” and it doesn’t seem to be working.

Here is the page in question, it works fine when I’m logged in but I can’t see it when logged out. http://www.nationalregistry4wrestling.com/registration/list-of-registrants/

  • In the “Contact Form to DB Extension Settings” in the Dashboard, have you selected “Anyone” for the option “Can See Submission when using shortcodes”?

Yes — as mentioned above, I checked that off and you can see the role=”Anyone” in the shortcode I used, so I don’t think that is the issue.

Have you tried not putting the Role=”Anyone” in your shortcode? I don’t have that in my shortcodes and I don’t need to be logged in to see the data displayed on the page.

Yes, I tried it both ways and unfortunately neither worked

Sorry, I can’t offer any more suggestions, except the tried and true:
    1) deactivate all other plugins to see if this makes a difference
    2) temporarily switch to another theme (eg WordPress default theme Twenty Fourteen) to see if this makes a difference

Thanks so much! I deactivated it and then reactivated it and the settings are working now. I should have thought of that. Thanks again!
