What process are you using to request a new API key? The only reason I can think of that it would suddenly stop working is if a rate limit is reached, but with only one Foursquare widget that’s unlikely to happen.

    1) developer.foursquare.com
    2) create app
    3) fill in name etc. and redirect url’s to https://studenterhytta.org
    4) No checkins will be pushed to your app
    5) Create app

Then i get this client ID and Client Secret, paste this into your widget. Then i works for probably a few minutes.

Our website has about 100 views per day in average.

The plugin caches Foursquare data for 15 minutes to improve performance, so when the cache expires the data must not be getting requested again. I’m not sure why this could be happening to you, do you mind setting up an account for me (sutherland.boswell@gmail.com) to log in and check it out?

    Thank you for helping.

It looks like a tip on the venue contains an emoji that seems to be causing a problem when the data is stored in the database. I should be able to come up with a fix soon.

Version 3.0.2 seemed to fix the issue on your site! You’ll notice that the rating still doesn’t appear, but that’s because not all fields are always available for all venues.

Hope you’ll leave a review and consider a donation!
