Dashes in Sidebar, Text not Formatting (5 posts)

    I have been working on my blog http://dianeclancy.com/blog/ for a week and a half, reading a lot of forums and documentation and gotten pretty far.

    But in my sidebar where I have put a header "Contact Diane," the text is not quite right and has dashes underneath. This is also the same for some text in the Meta second - but I don't mind as much.

    I had put a whole other category in and they were like that too but then I learned to make then a diff category in the blogroll and then they had the formatting - I had to redo them all.

    This same not quite right size is in the Email link in the header. I have tried changing the css ... I can get everything to change bigger and such. But I am stumped about where to go from here.

    But those dashes are still there and the text just isn't quite right. Thank you for any help - I have spent many hours on this ....

    I just noticed that in Safari the Email at the top is the correct size - but the sidebar is still a problem.

    Firefox is what I have been using.

    Those are abbreviations. (google for it)
    If you want to change the look/behaviour - open your stylesheet (style,css) and look for

    abbr {
    something: here...;
    }

    Oh, Thank you!! I had never used abbr so I didn't know to look for it - I got it all straightened out.

    Thank you again!!
