   Hey there,

   I am very new to wordpress and having some beginner problems here... I am trying to remove the dashed gray lines that border the page menu bar, above the black and below the purple lines as you can see here.

   Try removing div#menu1{border:dashed 1px #ccc} from your CSS. Looks like it's about 3/4 of the way down that long compressed line of styles in your header.
