Dashboard Works, Everything Else is Blank (3 posts)

    My website is: http://www.filmmisery.com

    Yesterday I was doing some minor cosmetic edits on the index.php page of my theme and in the middle of making changes, I suddenly started getting a blank page. Not only is the index.php page blank, but all of the individual pages, archives, and category pages are as well.

    I have since changed the index.php page to how I had it before any changes and double checked it for errors. I have also tried renaming the "plugins" folder to see if one of them was screwing things up. I have also tried activating the "Default" theme, but that did nothing either.

    The Dashboard works just fine, but none of the pages work.

    I suspect it might be an issue with my web host, but I thought I would post here since people in this forum are typically way more knowledgeable than the idiots at iPage.

    Any ideas?

    1. Try adding this line to your wp-config.php file:
    define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '64M');

    2. If you have access to your PHP.ini file, change the line in PHP.ini
    If your line shows 32M try 64M:
    memory_limit = 64M ; Maximum amount of memory a script may consume (64MB)

    3. If you don't have access to PHP.ini try adding this to an .htaccess file:
    php_value memory_limit 64M

    4. Talk to your host.

    Thanks, samboll. I tried those suggestions and they didn't seem to work. While chatting with my Web Host, the pages started displaying this error:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_header() in /hermes/bosweb/web262/b2620/ipg.filmmiserycom/index.php on line 1

    My Web Host says the problem is not on their end, but I'm baffled.
