[resolved] Dashboard Stats Not Showing After Update (19 posts)

    I have just updated the plugin, connected to WordPress.com.

    But, in the dashboard widget, where the graphs should be, all I get is the following message:

    We were unable to get your stats just now. Please reload this page to try again.

    Of course, I have reloaded the page, logged out and in, deactivated and reactivated the plugin -- did not work.

    I can still go to the "Summary" and get the stats. But, it is a malfunction. Please advise.

    Thank you.

    Thanks for the reports! We'll get this fixed in the next Jetpack release.

    In the meantime and if you feel comfortable editing PHP code, you can fix the problem by editing the modules/stats.php file, and look for the following code on line 413:

    $url = 'http://' . STATS_DASHBOARD_SERVER . "/wp-includes/charts/{$_REQUEST['chart']}.php";

    You'll want to replace it by the following code:

    $url = 'http://' . STATS_DASHBOARD_SERVER . "/wp-includes/charts/{$_GET['chart']}.php";

    Thanks again for letting us know about the issue.

    I am not comfortable messing with the PHP code, so it does not fix it for me. If the next update is not for a long time, then I may as well not use it. Hoping there is a fix soon, as the same as the above is happening for me too.

    I've got the same problem with the dashboard stats but now all my stats have been reset. Stats now start from th 4th of December. Is there any way I can get my stats back, site is:

    I too am not comfortable with changing the PHP code.

    @oceanbrad This problem with your stats is different from the issue reported in this thread. Could you please start your own thread here:

    Thank you!

    Hi, indobrad,

    That is exactly what I also thought ... and looked.

    I found it in wp-content > plugin > jetpack > module > stats.php. On line 413, it is exactly where Jeremy said it would be.

    Best of luck.

    Same here. I prefer to wait for the upgrade since I'm webmastering several WP sites :(
    Hope a soon update is on the way.
