    Hello,

I have a Problem with my site. I have a Multisite setup with 5 subsites. Suddenly the links in the dashboard to one of those sites don't link anymore to the sites URL but instead to the main sites URL.
instead of mydomain.com/site2/wp-admin the dashboardlinks point to mydomain.com/wp-admin
Strangely this only happens for this one subsite, all the others are working fine.
If i enter mydomain.com/site2/wp-admin manually into the browsers adressbar, I may enter the subsites dashboard and use the menu entries but on publishing an post/site or deleting one I get again redirected to the main site.
This already happened a few days ago. I restored a database backup from a day earlier and everything seemed fine, until today facing again the same phenomena.

Does someone have a clue what could be wrong?
    Thanks in advance

  2. Compare the two databases, especially the wp_X_options tables for that site?

Thank you very much to set me thinking Ipstenu!
the siteurl pointed to http://mydomain.com instead of http://mydomain.com/site2/
I changed it and for now it seems working. Any idea what could cause the change of the URL?
There are no plugins that are only working on this subsite

hmm after logging in with another username it was set to http://mydomain.com again
changed it again logged out and logged in with the main user again and the siteurl is wrong again

  5. A plugin or a theme could do that, and I've seen this happen before, btu no one sorted out WHICH plugin or theme did it :/

OK so I tried creating an new subsite and imported posts. Tried logging out and in again, and again now this subsite gets redirected to naibsite in the dashboard. Corrected the siteurl again. After some trial and error, I found out that the change of the siteurls only happens when logging out from the subsites dashboard. Logging out from the Networkadministration or the rootsite doesn't affect any of the subsites siteurls.

So logging out has to trigger something that changes the siteurl.

Any ideas what or where to find what this could be?

  7. I'd be searching the plugins and themes for anythgin hooked into wp_logout at that point :/
