   I'm using the page order tool to order the pages in a navigation in a particular way, however I am noticing that this is affecting the page order in the dashboard - something which I suppose could be useful, but isn't in my situation.

   Is there anyway I can have the dashboard list my pages alphabetically, and still utilise page ordering to order the pages on my website in a particular way?

   The native WP page ordering system impacts on both the displayed navigation order and the dashboard order. You can't have one without the other.
