Dashboard of WP 2.7.1 on localhost looks like WP 2.7

    I downloaded WP 2.7.1 and installed on localhost on my computer. But, the dashboard appearance looks identical to WP 2.7 instead. i.e. the dashboard menu is on the left side instead of on top of the windows.

    I wonder why it is different from server based? Am I missing something here?

    Ok, i found the solution after reading some other posts.

    I relooked into all the plugins I’ve installed. there’s one called “admin-menu” which gives you drop-down menu feature. It’s installed long before my upgrade to v2.7.1.

    Well, I deactivated it and the navigation menu changed from top to side. Hope this helps those who’re facing similar problem as me.
