    I am new to Worpress and am trying to add a page to my menu. We are running 2.9.2 because the web server is a shared server and they will not let me upgrade. My problem is that in the dashboard screen the navigation option is not available. How do I get it.Is it a plugin ?

    They are idiots. If you continue to use 2.9.2 you will eventually have major problems (like you have now). Get a new host. The choice is easy, a non-working site or a new host.

    My problem is that in the dashboard screen the navigation option is not available.

    I added a tag. Maybe someone who remembers the dashboard on that version will reply.
