Dashboard Level doesnt list all roles

Im using the Members plugin, this allows other roles to be added. Your plugin doesnt list all the roles my site has, only the basic default roles that wordpress uses. I tried setting it to subscriber but the custom role I have still couldnt view the dashboard.
Is there a fix for this? I was wondering if I could manually change something using phpmyadmin but wasnt sure what or where to change.
