• I’ve just moved my files and database from a Windows platform to a Linux platform. The site seems to be running fine, but the dashboard is not. The entire left column (the one that should be showing Posts, Pages, Media, Links, etc.) is missing. I can’t do anything with the site.

I was receiving the error, “Removing the “Your backup folder MIGHT be visible to the public” Message Generated by the WP-DBManager Plugin”. In trying to resolve the problem, I found that it was that the DBManager Plugin configuration was still mapped to the path of the old server. So without the dashboard ability to reset the properties of DBManager, I just deleted the plugin. But the left column still remains missing.

Any thoughts on how to get the left column to reappear? I’d really rather not rebuild the site from scratch. That would be painful.

    Thanks in advance,
    Andrew
