   I was trying to install a plugin "Membership" but it wasn't working as it should be.

   I logged out of the dashboard and when i logged back in, the dashboard only showed two columns (WP Blog and WP News).

   In the left column, there's only tabs for Dashboard and Profile... all other tabs are missing.

   I went in via FTP and deleted the plugin but the problem remains.

   what can i do to restore the dashboard tabs?

   Not sure if this will work but backup your wordpress, download wordpress here.

   Replace WP-Admin via ftp with the one downloaded.

   No... i ended up going in and donig the wp-admin only... no luck. then i did a manual back up (not touching wp-content of course) and no luck again...
