Dashboard Broken on GoDaddy Free (4 posts)

    I was using WordPress 2.5 on GoDaddy and it worked just fine, but after upgrading to 2.7, then 2.8, all minor releases (etc) my dashboard is completely broken. I have no Javascript support and no formatting. It's just a bunch of one columned text. I can't post anything from the dashboard because it fails out. I have the freebie hosting you get when you register an account on GoDaddy. Is there any way to resolve this or any workaround?

    @Nickhamm
    The free ad-supported hosting may have difficulty interacting with certain applications. It would be best to upgrade to an economy plan or higher in order for WordPress to function properly. Here's the help article on how to do this, http://help.godaddy.com/article/9 , or you can contact our support staff. More information on contacting support can be found here: http://www.godaddy.com/community/community.aspx?ci=9076

    Maybe this would be a good time to learn how to run a server off an old computer...hosting is expensive no matter where you go!
