   Once again I am getting problems with dashboard (plugins/ latest news etc) not loading - just displays 'Loading ...' and I cannot change any settings in the dashboard as the tab is missing.

   Plus the visual editor isn't working. HTML works ok but is missing elements.

   I have:
   emptied cache
   quit browser
   deleted 'wp-admin' floder
   reuploaded 'wp-admin' folder
   deactivated plugins one by one

   But nothing makes any difference.

   I've googled everywhere but there just seems to be a lot of 'me as well' rather than a definitive answer.

   Anyone else have this problem or more importantly, know how to fix it?

   I can't be the only one with this problem surely?

   I can't offer help, but solidarity, at least. When I try to upload an image from the dashboard, it brings up the Media upload screen. (So does the Media upload!) Corrupt, I guess, so I'll try your steps.
