   As a newbie to the WordPress system I have been happily working away creating a couple of new sites and a couple of days ago updated both to the latest version. This caused me no apparent issues for a couple of days and I was enjoying the learning curve having previously only ever worked in code.

   About 36 hours ago I went into one of the two sites and the dashboard presented itself apparently without picking up it's css code. I thought it was a glitch and attempted to enter my other site but only to be confronted by the same problem. I have left it for 18 hours thinking it maybe a glitch that would be sorted but I still have the same issue no matter which computer I log in from.

   I assume this is going to be a server side issue as the same problem presents itself on different machines. Do I need to reload the latest version of WordPress manually to resolve this issue or is there a shorter less time consuming way to sort it out?

   Was there any issues reported when upgrading?

   Can you navigate around the admin sections at all?

   No problem at all with the upgrade and it ran smoothly for a couple of days.

   Difficult to navigate but not impossible.

   Sounds like it's just not finding the styles or it can't read the styles. Maybe just double check the permissions are ok on your wp-includes and wp-admin directories especially.

   Without getting in there and having a look it's a little hard to diagnose something like this.

   It is strange - worked fine one day and the next day bang "no can do"

   I do believe my hosting company are doing some upgrading so I'll check with them before I do anything else.

   Thanks for the help though.
