i Just Updated My WordPress to 2.6
I Used a FTP (FileZilla) to delete all files except the ones your not supposed to (from the upgrade instructions)
after(Backing up before deletion) deletion i uploaded all the new files that i downloaded from wordpress.org
ran the installer and it works great except the very next screen after i login shows for a second and dissappears, and displays

    http://myads.free-site-host.com/adjs.php?n=131281497&what=zone:10&withText=1&exclude=,'>http://myads.free-site-host.com/adjs.php?n=006623221&what=zone:10&withText=1&exclude=,'>http://myads.free-site-host.com/adjs.php?n=038097708&what=zone:10&withText=1&exclude=,'>

same thing if i click the dashboard link(Because there they same link right? right)
(I can Enter the url and as soon as the page shows push stop, and it stops it before it gets to the code... but it takes a few attempts to do)
Everything else Did work great i changed my theme and now my pages won't work cept home... i think if i change the theme for now it'll fix it

But that is the only issue i'm having... EVERYTHING else Works Great
    Weird Issue...

    Any Suggestions?

Sounds like your files were hacked before you upgraded.

Download your theme files and check through them for the text you are seeing or things like META REFRESH lines.

Remove anything suspicious. Or preferably just start fresh with a new set of files (including theme).

idk how, they came straight from this site... but whatever, i got mad. deleted database and all and popped up my backup copy, and i'm up and running now... i'll make sure before doing ANY future upgrades, that most of the bugs are fixed :)

@jdnforjc: I think mrmist is right, this doesn't sound like upgrade problems to me either. Make sure your files and directories are only writable if needed. Your theme files usually DO NOT have to be writable.
