danish characters not appearing

    When I send an e-mail to my blog, it replaces the danish æ ø and å with a square! (& aelig; – & oslash; – & aring;) – would like WP to read it and make the right characters by default, so that I would not have to think about it, when I write in danish – not wanting to replace the characters manually in the e-mail!

    How can I fix this?

    It’s not WP – it’s your email client/program sending the text with a different character encoding than your blog has.
