    Hi,

the editorial staff at IDG's "Computerwoche" (that's Computerworld Germany, basically) has just started its "CW Notizblog" at http://blog.computerwoche.de - a pretty basic WP 1.5.1.1 installation with some plug-ins.

    Enjoy, Thomas

Your site is nice, not much of a change from the Default, but great header. Nice and clean and simple.

I did try to run, as part of my normal review, a validation on your site and got this:

Sorry, I am unable to validate this document because on lines 373-374, 377 it contained one or more bytes that I cannot interpret as utf-8 (in other words, the bytes found are not valid values in the specified Character Encoding). Please check both the content of the file and the character encoding indication.

This might be a language thing but it's worth checking to see if it is something more serious.

Using the default theme style, when a single post is clicked, the sidebar goes away. You might want to keep the sidebar there since you want to increase visibility of the site's navigation on such a site.

On a personal note, the links in the sidebar are clean and nice but they don't look "computer" feel. In fact, much of the overall theme doesn't match the wonderful header. If I were in charge, I would change the the post titles and maybe the sidebar to a monospaced "code" looking type font that looks like this to keep it a little technical looking. I'd also increase the size of the sidebar fonts a little as they are just a tad too small and "delicate" not "hard core computer tech" looking. But this is personal preference.

And one last little editorial comment. I'd also change the blog title and description to sit in the lower right corner of the header instead of the center because it covers the graphic and would add more "punch" to the effect.

As it stands, simple and clean. Works. Just fix that strange validation error.
